Young Chamber Cadets – VIP Behind the Scenes Tour and Enterprise Challenge

Young Chamber Cadets from Bidston Avenue Primary School were given the challenge of creating an event at Tranmere Rovers Football Club, who are their ‘adopted’ business. The Year 5 children spent the day at school creating an event that would be exciting to attend, involve the community and ultimately make a profit! They had to create a colourful billboard poster, write a press release announcing the event and produce a budget forecast.

The following day they had a very special VIP Behind the Scenes Tour of the Club and then pitched their ideas to a panel of judges that included the club owner. There were some amazing ideas including Mega Movie nights, mini Olympics, Halloween Extravaganza and Comedy Evening.

Mark Palios, Chairman of Tranmere Rovers said “I was really impressed with all the ideas that were pitched and how confident the children were to stand before the panel, a task that most adults would find daunting”
