I am thrilled to share the remarkable impact of The Johnson Foundation's My Big Future program on our primary school. The collaboration with businesses has been transformative, offering our 10-year-olds invaluable insights into various professions. Through engaging visits, talks, and behind-the-scenes experiences, our students have not only broadened their horizons but have also been inspired to dream big. The program is making a significant difference, breaking down barriers and raising expectations for children from low-expectation backgrounds. The dedication of The Johnson Foundation is evident, and we are immensely grateful for the positive change they are fostering in our school. Their commitment is indeed noticed and celebrated.

I would just like to say how much we appreciate our wonderful mentors. I don’t think they will ever realise the difference they have made to our children.The care, empathy and time they have dedicated to each and every child has enabled them to flourish. Very special bonds have been created and the children have thrived from having someone to talk to, share their news with and develop their reading. We honestly cannot thank the Johnson Foundation enough - you are all very special human beings who clearly care a lot about making a difference in our world. Each and every one of you have been an inspiration to our pupils. When our children return after reading, they stand taller and seem content and happy. The importance of every child really needing ‘that one person’ really shines through here.
