Young Chamber Cadets – VIP Behind the Scenes Tour and Enterprise Challenge

Year 5 children from Mendell Primary School have been ‘adopted’ by The Village Hotel and were invited for a special Behind the Scenes Tour to see first hand how the hotel operates. The children were split into two team and completed their Challenge by creating Mocktails and ‘Prom Organisation’ sessions.

Hillside Primary School are working with Mersey Maritime and as part of their VIP Behind the Scenes Tour and Enterprise Challenge, the children had a very special visit to HMS Eaglet (Liverpool), the Royal Naval Regional Headquarters. This unique opportunity helped the children learn about the huge amount of jobs available within the Royal Navy, including Officers, Engineers, medical staff and Writers (HR Administrators).

Children from Millfields Primary School were given a Behind the Scenes Tour of the brand new Woodside Food Village, followed by a tour of Pacific Road Business Hub. The children met with the many different businesses based in Pacific Road and had the opportunity to ask lots of interesting questions about the different job roles within those businesses. Their Challenge was to create a food concession stall, producing posters and menus before presenting their unique, entrepreneurial ideas to a judging panel.
