On Wednesday 29th May The Johnson Foundation hosted a Charity Lunch raising money for Clatterbridge Cancer Centre at Thyme in Oxton Village. Clatterbridge do amazing work for our community and we are lucky to have the facilities on our doorstep and we were delighted to support this very worthy organisation.
This lovely event raised a whopping £3551.00!!!
The event got off to a great start with a fabulous strawberry Mojito served on arrival. Entertainment was provided by Annette, Vintage Vocals, who serenaded the ladies with a vintage songbook from the 1920’s up to the 1960’s. Annette got in touch when she heard about our event and very generously donated her time. She’s an amazing singer and certainly added something special to the event. A delicious 3 course lunch was served by all the friendly staff at Thyme and very special thanks go to Cathy and all the team at Thyme for their help and hard work to make the event so successful, nothing was too much trouble. Our guests then enjoyed a fashion show by Oxton Boutique and thanks go to the lovely ladies who kindly volunteered to model the beautiful clothes.
The success of the fundraising lunch at Thyme for Clatterbridge Cancer Centre couldn’t have been possible without the enormous generosity of these wonderful local Business’s and individuals.
